Cancellation Policy:
If you need to reschedule your experience, that can be done 15 days or more in advance of your date at no charge. If you reschedule from the 14th day to the 8th day prior to your experience there is a $25.00 rescheduling fee. Inside of 7 days there are no reschedules allowed without approval by On Track staff and a $50.00 fee (Call Us). However, riders and drivers can be substituted with another person at any time at no charge. In the event of rain or moisture present on the racing surface you will be able to reschedule (see our Rain Policy).
Refund Policy:
There are No Refunds of ride or drive experience for any reason. Also, prices are subject to change without notice.
Track Service Fee:
There is a fee that is collected from each driver at the track. This track service fee is $25.00 per driver and must be paid at the time the driver signs in at the track.  This fee can be paid by cash or credit card.  Sorry, checks are not accepted.
Rain Policy:
We will make every effort to get your experience in on the day and time scheduled. However, mother nature does not always cooperate. In the event of rain, each participant will be given a “rain check” to be used within ONE year from the date it was issued. Sorry, refunds are not available (see Refund Policy).
For participants traveling long distances in order to attend our events, we strongly suggest booking refundable or flexible travel arrangements. On Track Racing Experience will not refund costs for travel or accommodations in the event of a cancellation. Unless On Track personnel call you in advance to cancel an event, every participant MUST show up at the track even if it is raining! Just like in real NASCAR racing, there will be a waiting period to see if the track can be dried off once the rain subsides. If the weather does not allow the event to happen, participants at the track will be issued a “rain check” as stated above. Please do NOT assume a program will not happen if the weather looks bad. Show up or you will be considered a "no show" and will forfeit your program's cost.
Insurance (Damage Limitation) Policy:
Drivers are responsible to pay for damage to the race car, or any other vehicle they may damage, as a result of their driver error. To limit your possible financial liability for such property damage to $1,500, the driver may purchase insurance, at the cost of $50, at any time before they drive. The $1,500 maximum property damage liability limit does not cover any damage caused by the driver's intentional conduct. This property damage limitation agreement regarding damage to vehicles does not apply to any personal injury claim.
Question: What is a race car driving experience?
Answer: A race car driving experience provides you the opportunity to drive a real race car on the track.
Question: What is a race car ride experience?
Answer: A race car ride experience provides you the opportunity to be strapped in to the passenger seat of a specially-designed two-seat race car to be driven around a race track at top speed by one of our seasoned drivers.
Question: Is there an age requirement?
Answer: To drive, you must have a valid state driver’s license.  If driver is under 18 years of age, they must provide written parental consent and parent must be present during drive experience. To ride, there is no age requirement, but you must be able to be properly fastened into the seat. Written parental consent is required and a parent must be present during ride experience.
Question: Are there physical requirements?
Answer:  For safety reasons there is a height limit of 6'4" and a weight limit of 300 pounds.  Additionally, the driver and/or rider must be physically capable of entering and exiting the race cars through the window opening.
Question: Do I need a driver’s license?
Answer: Yes, a valid driver’s license is required to drive. No driver’s license is required for a ride experience.
Question: Is prior race experience required?
Answer: No, prior race experience is not required. Training will be provided.
Question: Do the race cars have manual or automatic transmissions?
Answer: The race cars have both automatic and manual transmissions.
Question: How do I schedule a race car experience?
Answer: After you have purchased your package, go to the Schedule Page on this site and Pick out the date you want. Then fill out the reservation form and submit it.  You should receive a confirmation via e-mail within 72 hours.
Question: Is safety equipment provided?
Answer: Yes, we provide you with racing helmets and race suits. The race cars are designed with safety in mind. All of the race cars are constructed with roll-cages and have fire extinguishers and 5-point seat belt harnesses for your safety.
Question: What do I need to bring?
Answer: It is Very Important that you bring the voucher or certificate with you to the track.  There is a Track Service Fee that is collected at the track from all drivers (Please see our Policies Page).  Also, feel free to bring a camera, sun screen, hat, hearing protection (especially if bringing children with you).  We have food and drinks for sale at the events.  No Alcohol Allowed.
Question: What about capturing the moment?
Answer: Feel free to bring your own camera or cell phone to the event to capture the experience in pictures.  We have video cameras installed in the cars to capture every moment in the car. You can purchase the video seperately and take those memories home to show your friends and family.
Question: What should I wear?
Answer: Wear comfortable clothing. Remember, you will wear a race suit over your clothing; so, shorts are a good idea in hot weather. Wear closed-toe tennis shoes/sneakers. No open toed shoes and no boots.
Question: Can I bring family & friends?
Answer: Yes, absolutely. You’re encouraged to share the experience with your family and friends.
Question: At which race tracks are the race experiences held?
Answer: The experiences are held at several different tracks. See our Race Track Information page for details.
Question: Will I receive training?
Answer: Absolutely! Your safety is our number-one concern. You will attend a driver orientation class given by one of our instructors which will include safety information about the race cars, the race track, and driving experience procedures. Additionally, you will have a driving coach to help via a radio.
Question: What is your weather policy?
Answer: You must show-up at the track on the day of your scheduled experience, regardless of any weather reports and no matter what the weather looks like at your present location.  However, we will post a "CANCELLATION NOTICE" on our Facebook page as quickly as possible if we determine that the day's experiences will be canceled due to weather.  If we do not post a "CANCELLATION NOTICE", please show up or you will be considered a "no-show" and forfeit your race experience. We will make every effort to provide you the race experience on your scheduled day, however, weather may cause us to cancel scheduled events. You will be given a "rain-check" good for one year from the original scheduled date. No refunds will be granted. Please see our Policies page.
Question: What if the weather changes during the experience?
Answer: We will make every effort to provide you with the race experience on your scheduled day. However, weather may cause us to cancel scheduled events. In the event we cancel your scheduled experience, you will be given a rain-check good for one year from the original scheduled event date. No refunds will be granted. Question: What is your refund policy?
Answer: We do not offer refunds.  Please see our Policies Page for more information.
Question: What if I cannot attend a previously scheduled experience?
Answer: You can change your reservation at least 15 days prior to your previously scheduled event date without penalty. Between 14 and 8 days prior to your event date a $25.00 rescheduling fee is charged. You must call and get approval within 7 days of the event and will be charged a $50.00 fee if rescheduling is approved. Please see our Policies Page for complete details.
Question: Can I transfer gift certificates and race experiences to somebody else?
Answer: Yes.  However, please inform us when transferring gift certificates and/or scheduled race experiences. 
Question: How long will my experience take?
Answer: Expect to be at the track for 3 hours to complete your experience.
